Kim and Grayson's Langtry Walk September Wedding
Kim and Grayson’s intimate family gathering at Langtry Walk was nothing short of heartfelt and genuine. With the rustic wood of the barn, earthy greens of the land and the main course being pizza this laidback wedding was casual yet elevated with editorial style photography.
Here is a glimpse at what a wedding in September looks like here. Even on an overcast day, this venue doesn’t disappoint!
Just look at this place! There was so much space to dance and enjoy the reception and tall ceilings perfect for draping. The ceremony space was unique with 2 seats on each side of the aisle to keep guests together in small groupings which felt extra intimate.
Oh my gosh, Kim’s dress was so stunning. One of the most intricate beaded details I have ever seen in a dress. We met at her family home where she got ready with her best friends.
Including this emotional moment, her friend who is blind wanted to partake in the first look moment so she instead felt the dress with her hands. I had never photographed something like this before and it was a profound experience.
Kim’s daughter helped her bustle her dress and we headed to the ceremony.
Grayson’s reaction to seeing Kim for the first time.
We took some playful bride and groom portraits in the field at the back of the property (queue frolicking)
Some more reception details…
Before a surprise performance from Grayson’s grandfather Roy Henry Vickers! He played a song by Johnny Cash and the whole room was howling. I couldn’t help but smile taking these.
And they danced the whole night through!
Congratulations to the new Mrs. and Mr.! It was such an honor to photograph your wedding.
